Sunjay, who has been one of the prominent Indian industrialists as well as an extremely passionate polo player, took his last breath at the age of 53 in the UK after a heart attack while playing polo, as per reports.
Sunjay Kapur, a prominent figure in Indian polo and industrialist, passed away in England on Thursday due to a heart attack. He was 53. Kapur was playing polo at the Guards Polo Club when he felt suffocated and collapsed. Sources close to him revealed that he might have swallowed a bee, causing a sting in his throat that led to the heart attack. Kapur was the patron of the Aureus polo team and a well-known player. He was previously married to Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor and had two children with her, Samaira and Kiaan. He later married Priya Sachdev.
According to reports state that a bee went into his windpipe while he was polo. The bee eventually clogged his pipes resulting in a death due to heart attack.
The irony of the situation is that, hours before taking his last breath.Sunjay had taken to social media and posted his thoughts about the crash of the ill fated Air India flight that was traveling from Ahmedabad to London.
